If you're not sure about coming out to this show because you don't recognize some of these bands make sure you check out their myspace pages and then you'll have a better idea of what you'll be missing if you don't go. Some of these bands are travelling from far away and won't be coming through again anytime soon so come out and have a great time with us!

I need help. Robbiey made a flyer for this show but I don't know how to place it here. It's on a disc, I have it open, I know that with a mac you just copy it and place it with the little hand. I have it copied but I can't put it in the reply here. It doesn't give me the paste option. When I click on insert image I get a request for a web link. Can someone help me? I'm just learning. Thanks!

I forgot to mention I'm at work and this is a Dell I'm on if that makes a difference.

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Aug 25,2005 11:58am
Hey Monika,
do this...
go to the events page where you listed the show and then click on "edit" to edit the show and then you will see an option to "upload flyer" click on it and you will be able to enter in the location of where the flyer is (your disk) and upload it and then once you do that...go back on the events page, find your show and click on "flyer" and get the url ...actually, i'll help you with all that...just do the first part (copy it from your disk to the events page)

after you do that I can do the rest..i feel like i wrote a novel

haha

This thread is too annoying to look at with this flyer so big. I'm going resize it and post it later. Sorry everybody! I'm used to working with torches (making Jewelry) not technology. So I'm just learning everything now. If you'd like to view it, please go to the EVENTS page. It's attached to the listing.

Again, It's going to be a ton of fun so try to make it to the show!

IF ANYONE NEEDS DIRECTIONS, LET ME KNOW!!!!!

YAY it worked =)

toggletoggle post by MonikaHBBSI at Aug 25,2005 12:13pm
Oooops. Yea, it worked too well! I can't stop laughing! I'm SO EMBARRASSED!

toggletoggle post by MonikaHBBSI at Aug 25,2005 12:15pm
How can I make it smaller? I know I have to click Edit and then what should I do?

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Aug 25,2005 12:56pm
if you want it smaller then you would have to first resize it on your computer and rename it and then reupload the smaller image

toggletoggle post by MonikaHBBSI at Aug 25,2005 1:11pm
Thank you for all your help. I'm going to try to figure it out later when I have more time.

toggletoggle post by MonikaHBBSI at Aug 25,2005 4:37pm

What Kind of place is Cherry street station?

toggletoggle post by MonikaHBBSI at Aug 26,2005 10:30am
Cherry Street Station is a bar. Yes, the train does go by there. It's not huge so it's an awesome place to see a show. You walk in and the stage is right to your right. It's level to the street so loading in is a piece of cake. There is a parking lot right in front which is much appreciated considering it's such an issue with a lot of venues in more populated areas. Past the stage you walk up a few steps and you're at the bar. The view from there is great. Renevations are going to happen soon where they will knock out a wall so that from every seat at the bar you can see the stage. Right now the performing area is level with the ground but a raised stage will be built soon. Unfortunetely not too many people know about it so it's not super popular. There's a pool table and Dennis, the owner runs the place himself with some help sometimes and he is a really great guy. He's very open to all kinds of music. He's not the kind of venue owner that you want to avoid during the night because he's going to be a jerk to you or complain about something. Instead you just want to hang out with him because he's a really nice guy. He's super laid back and just has a good time. Every show has a professional sound man and everything always sounds good. Everything gets miked and every band does a sound check before they go on. I'm telling you guys, this place is GREAT!!! It might a little bit of a drive for some people but honestly, it's worth it. I've never been to a show there where I have not had a good time. Besides us Clint ( http://www.myspace.com/clitproductions ) and Tom ( he's in Father Panic Riot Orchestra http://www.myspace.com/thefatherpanicriotorchestra and Sea of Bones http://www.myspace.com/seaofbones ) book there as well as the owner. I just can't say enough good things about it. I'm working super hard to bring some great shows there myself because IT'S SUCH A GEM and everyone who goes will have a guaranteed good time! TRUST ME!!! SO I'LL SEE YOU ALL LATER? WE GO ON AT 7:00pm!!!!!

toggletoggle post by MonikaHBBSI at Aug 26,2005 10:34am
Cherry Street Station also has Coral Aquariums and one of those enormous flat screen tv's. There is even an outdoor area part of the bar where the smokers can drink! Come check it out!

This Years Addiction just emailed me and they're leaving at 2. They're coming from Long Island. The Departed are coming from Rhode Island. The_Network are travelling from New Hampshire and Home Pharmacy is from Rochester, New York. Sea of Bones and HBBSI are locals and we do SO MUCH travelling that I, for one, am really glad to not have to drive far today but appreciate everyone coming from all these far away places to play our show! THANK YOU EVERYONE AND HAVE A SAFE TRIP!!!

toggletoggle post by thedeparted   at Aug 26,2005 1:08pm
awesome, we are leaving at about 330, if we get lost we'll call, see you in a bit!

toggletoggle post by MonikaHBBSI at Aug 26,2005 1:24pm
When you get off Route 5 on EXIT 66 you'll come to a light. Take a left there. Go 1.6 miles, you'll see a WALMART on your left, and then you will see a RITE AID on your left. Directly across from the RITE AID on your right is N PLAINS HWY which is really a side street. Take that right and go over the train tracks. You will see the back of the Cherry Street Station Building. Take a left onto N Cherry Street Ext. and another left into the parking lot and you're THERE!!!

we'd like to thank, HBBSI for hosting the show, and being kind and putting us on the show.

The cherry street station kicks some major ass, let me tell you.
everyone is extremely nice, and the sound is loud and clear.

All the bands that played tonight were amazing. HBBSI, insane as always.
This years addiction: first time seeing them, very impressed, awesome people too.

The Network: fucking nuts, it was a great time playing with you guys.
Home RX and Sea Of Bones, great guys, great sets.

The train tracks are awesome, we made some lucky coins. i dont think
the conductors liked it much.

Everyone should get their asses out and see HBBSI on september 3rd
at cherry street

& THEN

PSYOPUS on the 23rd of september!

Thanks everyone

Between here and our myspace site I'm really happy to see that everyone made it home safe!!! That's #1.

Now....Oh, I had such a blast last night! EVERY SINGLE SET WAS AMAZING!!! Glen, the sound man was great as always. He's so nice too and I know he made lots of new friends especially with This Years Addiction! Ha Ha! ;-)

This Years Addiction more than lived up to all the fabulous things I had heard about them and I'm sure we'll be playing more together in the future!

The Departed kicked ass, it's great to play with you guys 2 weekends in a row! You guys are just such great people! You know how to make me laugh! I'm glad the train made you so happy! I'll try to find out the schedule for next time! But Nelson, I missed your sister last night! You have to bring her on the 23rd! She's great!

I was so happy to watch The_Network play again! I think it's been over a year! They missed our set but we'll make up for that tomorrow!

Home Pharmacy is awesome! They're on tour right now so go check them out! In fact - Come to see The_Network, Home Parmacy, and HBBSI this Sunday (Tomorrow!) @ the Aviary @ 5:00 pm!!!!!!!!
The Aviary address again is 103 Court street, Dover NH.

Sea of Bones closed the night with an awesome set of pure DOOM!

once again ... A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE BANDS FOR A SUPER SHOW!!!
