I actually didn't make the flyer, but thank you for pointing it out, I will now go give Ian shit for it.

toggletoggle post by nate   at Aug 23,2005 3:59pm
hehe aight...

toggletoggle post by rupturedzine   at Aug 23,2005 4:05pm
I probably would have spelled it wrong too, however that won't stop me.

toggletoggle post by nate   at Aug 23,2005 4:06pm

yes, unfortunately.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 23,2005 4:27pm
I saw the myspace...
its like you took over the accursed.

toggletoggle post by kellthevalkyrie  at Aug 23,2005 4:46pm
i can't wait!

toggletoggle post by rupturedzine   at Aug 23,2005 5:22pm
lol, well The Accursed are technically BANNED from the New Wave, so Inflicted couldn't really have them on. However they're playing anyway in a couple of weeks.

Yay Kelly! I can't wait to get drunk with Kelly!

toggletoggle post by Inflicted at Aug 23,2005 6:31pm
goddammit I knew I would spell that wrong, I think I even looked for the correct spelling and found that, so technically that may be the fault of wherever I copied it from... sorry :-P

toggletoggle post by rupturedzine   at Aug 23,2005 8:49pm

Unfortunately, the club has a policy if you don't stick around you don't see any cash. You would have had to stay around until 2:30 in the morning for $20.

toggletoggle post by KeithMutiny  at Aug 23,2005 9:42pm
oh god, wasnt worth that, the bleeding in my ears was too much by midnight.

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Aug 23,2005 10:09pm

If you try to make sense of it all blood will squirt out of your nose.

Coffin birth might have to end up playing Putrid Pile style at the show(using a drum machine!!) Our drummer has developed a rather mysterious rash on his wrist over time and in the past 2 weeks its gotten to the point where it hurts to do any thing. Does any one know if the Pa system at the New wave will be able to handle programmed drums being played of a digital 8 track recorder??

toggletoggle post by |an at Aug 24,2005 12:34pm
yes it can although that would be mightly strange to witness live

can you get one of those toy monkeys that bangs on a little drum set, to at least acheieve even a fraction of realism?

toggletoggle post by Aegathis  at Aug 24,2005 12:40pm edited Aug 24,2005 12:41pm
hahah, dude ive seen it done before. Thats what Putrid Pile basically is, a guy playing guitar along with his drum machine, and it was pretty sick. That and Isidious Decrepency which i saw in South carolina. We REALLY wanna play this show so we'd be will to look dumb in that sense. My other idea was to have the drummer play but not do any blast beats or crazy fills , and drown him out a little with guitar, but it still might be pretty painfull for him to even do that.We want him to get better soon .Ill try gettin one of the monkeys too

toggletoggle post by rupturedzine   at Aug 24,2005 12:42pm
the monkey. lol. awesome.

toggletoggle post by |an at Aug 24,2005 2:15pm
well try doping him up somehow?

remember also the cabs are going to be backlined up through our set to speed up changeover times

The drummer or the monkey?

toggletoggle post by |an at Aug 24,2005 2:34pm
good question
I'd say drummer first, cause if it works with him doped up then there's no need for the monkey, aside from novelty value

toggletoggle post by Aegathis  at Aug 24,2005 2:38pm
i wish that would work, but i just dont see it happening. Dont have anything to dope him up with, and if i did he probably would be able to play very well.

toggletoggle post by |an at Aug 24,2005 2:40pm
has he seen a doctor? you said it's been several weeks

toggletoggle post by rupturedzine   at Aug 24,2005 2:42pm
that really sucks.

oh btw I think Coffin Birth is a go for that fitchburg show!

toggletoggle post by Aegathis  at Aug 24,2005 2:46pm
yea hes seen quite a few , and he can only do soo much cause he doesnt have health insurance. They never really figured out what was causing it, just that he was allergic to something in the kitchen he works in,possibly the gas from one of the stoves, or some other chemical they use for what ever. Its actually been many months since it started affecting him, but it wasnt till like a week and a half ago it started really hurtin him.I just go an email back from someone at the new wave sayin it shouldnt be a problem using the br8 with the programmed drums, but Ian if you dont want us playin with using that as our drummer to spoil your release party than we wont.

whoa thats fuckin sweet! he should be better by then, if not Ive got some one who can fill in at that show

toggletoggle post by rupturedzine   at Aug 24,2005 2:47pm
not having insurance sucks, I haven't had it in months.

toggletoggle post by Aegathis  at Aug 24,2005 2:51pm
yea i cut my thumb open over the summer and i had to get it glued shut, ended up costing 400 dollars cause i didnt have insurance

toggletoggle post by |an at Aug 24,2005 3:51pm
eh, not much I can do now 2 days before the show, you guys are opening so it shouldn't kill the night.

toggletoggle post by rupturedzine   at Aug 24,2005 4:24pm
ain't killing my night. if there's a monkey that will MAKE my night.

TOMORROW NIGHT *bump*

toggletoggle post by Aegathis  at Aug 25,2005 5:45pm
Oh man i really hate to do this but Coffin birth wont be able to play tomorow. This is rather unfortunate cause ive been wanting to play this place with this type of line up(especially inflicted) for a really long time. I hope all you guys dont hate us for fucking up the roster for tomorow but its gone beyond my control, the drummer physically cant play by tomorow and i wont risk the drum machine idea cause ive never tested the br8 through a pa system. It might take me a while to get it to not sound like shit. Any way yea ill be at the show regardless and im gonna try and drag the drummer with me to show ya all what i mean and im sure well all have a fine time no matter what.

WTF
