blue asked who ty law was. since the subject of the thread was Law's current situation, and Blue didn't know who he was from that,
i had to give something from the recent past that one might recognize.
i knew you were gonna call me on that...

toggletoggle post by DomesticTerror at Jul 15,2005 7:04pm
anyways, did anyone else hear about him and the cheifs?

also, Gabe Kapler in Fort Myers today???

and lastly, i read in Sporting News the other day about a six man trade in the works involving the Red Sox, Padres, and a few unnamed teams.
David Wells was mentioned.
nothing on EEI. anybody got anything?

Gayhamburger is going to get a ruuuuuuuude awakening this year. Steelers got lucky last year. All there is to it.

toggletoggle post by DomesticTerror at Jul 15,2005 7:05pm
is that a no?

toggletoggle post by JayTUS nli at Jul 15,2005 7:06pm
Oh and as for Wells, the Padres wanted him, but the Sox said no.

Best news I've heard today:

Peter Forsberg - C - Avalanche

If Colorado can't find the cap room to re-sign Peter Forsberg, don't be surprised if the Bruins take a run at the 32-year-old superstar.
Boston is one of the NHL clubs that has almost $20 million in free agent money to spend. Also look for the Bruins to look into re-signing Glen Murray at a bargain price and to promote Hannu Toivinen to be Andrew Raycroft's understudy.

ESPN is actually talking about him going with the Jets. Most NFL reporting is saying the same, but the Jets may not have the $6 million his agent wants for him.

The Pats have 8 or so corners on the roster right now. I dont think they'd take Law back unless his pricetag drops significantly. I didnt here anything about the Cheifs.

Ty Law - DB - Patriots

610 Sports Radio in Kansas City reports that Ty Law has agreed in principle to terms with the Chiefs, pending a physical.
Kansas City's 610 Sports reporter Rhonda Moss reports the deal is finalized, but Law appeared on another Kansas City station just yesterday saying the Chiefs were only one option. Don't consider this a done deal yet, but it looks likely that Law will sign with the Chiefs or Jets shortly. Jul. 15 - 11:24 am et
