A fake press release has been circulating around some music websites for a few weeks now. The press release purports to be derived from an interview that Lemmy gave VH1. In the press release, Lemmy reportedly claims to be bi-sexual. The much respected website for the metal magazine Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles ran the press release last week as factual. As a result, several other sites picked up the story.

The entire thing was a hoax concocted by the webmaster for a site called www.mariosmetalmania.com. Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles has now posted the following story on their site.
