and yes, it will surprise the shit out of everyone since there are no more excessive breakdowns, and includes more diversity and clearer technicality. lots of old school death metal influences as well.

i should correct myself on that one; thank you for pointing that out moe...what i mean is that what the current lineup wants to do is a little different than what the old lineup was doing. we still have breakdowns, but they're more thought out, textured, etc. than the old ones. most of us like tasteful breakdowns if you will, and fewer in number so they're a bit more 'special' or there is more suspense built up for the breakdown. there's a lot more devourment, cephalic carnage, circle of dead children influence in the new shit, as well as stuff like odious mortem, gorguts, internal bleeding, etc. come out to a show and check out a few of the new tunes!

i would say the new stuff is not as slow as most of the demo is, but yes, definitely more technical, and thrashier as well.
