i just bought Altered Genesis. that is a sick fucking cd. i saw that Tchort (ex-Emperor) was in it and i was expecting more of a black metal sound, but its more death metal-y and breakdown-y. i wonder if anyone else realizes that the song "Tortured Soul Appearance" is written about an action figure from the "Tortured Souls" series 1 by Todd McFarlane. Dr. Talisac is his name.

this should be an all-out Tchort appreciation thread. with the exception of the new green carnation album, i'm a big fan of his work.

You can't really blame him for the new Green Carnation. Well, I don't know because all I hear are those god-awful vocals.
