I was never a fan of porphyria, however this is a far cry from the older material. I think the blasting could be a little faster but honestly this is pretty solid suffocation styled DM. Some riffs dont belong here and there but its played tight and gets pretty technical. I could see this being put out on a solid DM label. Good job

hm... this sounds a lot more like carcass and a lot less like decapitated....

ok, what no eyes could see is a much better capture of what porphyria sounds like live, imho. the dual vocals layered remind me of cattle decapitation and the rest mixes in some slow 90's parts and faster parts that remind me of cannibal corpse. I don't really hear any suffocation in either of these tracks.

This shit sounds awesome. Tight as fuck.

good news, I can play the solo minus the part where its fast/high notes due to the fact that I do not have those notes on my 6-string. At some point I'll figure out something different, but for now I think I'm going to alternate between the solo and rhythm.
