According to what I read, it's not a definite thing just yet. I do think that this movie COULD be great if the story is written right.

Yeah, like "Taxi Driver" meets "Flawless", Travis and his post-op transsexual sidekick cruise around the streets of New York busting bad guys and solving mysteries. He could have a cool catch-phrase, like, "Oh, no you didn't", and Nickleback and Mudvayne on the soundtrack.
