REDEFINING MUSICAL DESTRUCTION SINCE 1995…

Awoken, and ready to roll! MÖRSER http://www.morser.de celebrate a decade of destruction by joining forces with Garden of Exile Records http://www.gardenofexile.com, this with just one target: Seek and Destroy!

After taking it slow for some years, MÖRSER re-grouped and are at fighting strength again. From now on they will operate as a 7 men army.

The legendary German steamroller MÖRSER, (famous for their first 2 full lengths: “2 Hours To Doom” and “10.000 Bad Guys Dead,” and of course their split with The Swarm) have set 2005 as a new mark stone. We all know MÖRSER as a unique and brutal grinding unit (Bremen style), leaving no one standing.

In co-operation with Zwerchfell (comic distributor), Garden of Exile will release the follow-up episode of the Comic “Der Kosmopolit” called “Pure” in fall 2005. After the huge success of “Scum”, MÖRSER will once more deliver the soundtrack to accompany the special agent and the reader during the story.

2006 will be even more exiting and will not go down in history as the year of the World Championships soccer in Germany, but more as the year of MÖRSER’s new full length, their first in over 5 years: Bremen back on the map!

This Saturday MÖRSER and Garden of Exile will be celebrating the signing during the Garden of Exile showcase on the annual Noorschock festival at De Oosterpoort, Groningen. Mörser statement:

“After our last release, our label Chrome Saint Magnus paused the work and it is not known if the label will be reanimated in the future. So we had to look for a new label. In the summer of 2004 we got some mails from different labels who wanted to work together with MÖRSER, but we only got in deeper contact with the guys of Garden of Exile. After meeting and getting to know each us for some times, everything felt right for a collaboration. We hope that MÖRSER and Garden of Exile will push each other forward and that the work will last for a long time.”

Garden of Exile statement:

“The entire Garden of Exile staff has been a “fan” of the band for a long time. After the first meeting with the guys from MÖRSER we really felt this was a good band to work with.
