3/15/04: WE HAVE FILLED THE GUITARIST POSITION.
We're very pleased to announce the newest member to the Cannae family. We'd like to welcome Alex Vieira to the band. He's a very talented guitar player from central Florida. He currently plays in bands, Five Billion Dead and Capharnaum. His debut with the band will be at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. So for those of you who are going to be there, I suggest you check out our set. We are a new and improved band now and we're very happy with our progression as musicians.

3/13/04: NEW ALBUM "GOLD BECOMES SACRIFICE" COMPLETE.
Well, the time has come for us to escape the beautiful weather of Florida to head back home to the massive amounts of snow in Massachusetts. All the tracking for the new record "Gold Becomes Sacrifice" is complete and we're very happy with the way things are turning out. We'd like to give an extra special thanks to Jason Suecof for putting us up at his lovely estate and all the hardwork he put into making this album what it's going to be. We'd also like to thank James Murphy (Death, Obituary, Testament) for coming out on his own time and laying down an absolutely great solo on the track "Bastinado". You guys and gals will all get to hear it soon. The record will be mastered by Jim Morris at Morrisound Studio in the next couple weeks. Keep checking for updates. At home, Cannae will be getting the artwork ready and preparing for the extensive touring come this summer. Cannae will be playing this year's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival on Sunday, April 24th. You can check that website for further details. Thats about it, see you guys on tour and get ready for the best Cannae album yet!

They were grilling with me on Saturday and brought an unmixed copy of the cd. Sounds pretty damn good.
