with volume full and going to press monday now is a good time to gather info for volume 2.

The choices:

1. do it really fast again and get it done in time for Maryland Death Fest which would mean a deadline near metal fest april 22.

2. or take a bit longer in gathering the masses and having it ready for hellfest, which is more of a "hardcore" crowd. deadline would probably be end of may early june. maybe 2 discs could fill with the extra time?


my vote is for hellfest.

MDF is like 68 days away, plenty of time.

i was just looking into the the dates and with mdf on may 28-29th it would need to go to the pressing plant no later april 25th to make deadline. some can do it faster but i'd rather not take the chances.

deadline would be april 22 which is metal fest weekend so I would not be able to compile it that weekend unless it filled sooner than that date.

having a deadline for volume 2 on the same day volume 1 is released seems a little odd to me.

can porphyria and hand choke neck as well as others be ready in time for april 22?

ours would be ready by then....if there's still room for the second disk.

can bands from the first volume submit to the second volume, too?

Just finished the final mixes for the CW record on Friday and mastering is sometime this week so we can definitely get our shit in by April 22nd.

the majority of the bands that would want to be considered for volume 2 will more than likely be shunned by the lot of the hellfest goers. i think maryland would be much better of an idea.

if another 20 bands can be ready by april 22nd at the latest then i'll make up the details this week.

yes bands from 1 can be on 2 but not too many of the same bands. 8 at the most more only if enough other.

if we wait until the hellfest deadline within the fray will have our new song recorded and we can use that, ooooo! otherwise we could send another $50 and a song in case you need to fill it up for the MD deadline. but it think 2 discs at once would be fucking awesome... maybe i'm just a dreamer.

I'm gonna work on the detials and try to get them up by the end of the week. Plan on April 22 deadline although I dont want 1/3 of the cd to fill on the deadline day again. So plan on April 15th with a 22nd deadline.
