My name is Cohlette and I believe I can help you with your search. My boyfriend Dana Sauvan is very interested in this. He can go from screaming the highest scream to singing the softest note and have it sound perfect. He is very versatile. Think from the sound of Drive Thru Records as his singing (Finch, Early November etc) then to Lamb of God (how high he can scream)/As I Lay Dying(how he mainly sounds at times)/Misery Signals/Killswitch Engage (his melodic vocals and sometimes screams)/Martyr AD (his lower vocals) to going to a more hardcore sound like Strife to even just having a mix of different styles such as Deftones and Glassjaw mixed in as well. He can take any sound and make it his own. He also has a deep growl too (example The Red Chord). He has alot of influences, particularly in metal like Pantera, one of his favorite bands to Hopesfall, Across Five Aprils, Unearth, Bleeding Through, Every Time I Die etc. He isn't interested in doing anything nu-metal or anything without breakdowns. He wants to keep up with the times and do something the kids will enjoy and something they can dance to and have fun with. If that's what you're looking for then he is your guy. yea i did a search found out they had songs on purevolume, played it for him and he thought it was alright stuff. their post says they need a singer. do you know if they still need one, i mean the post wasnt that recent or anything.

i have no clue. im sure if your bf is as good as you make him out to be he could find a better band though.

i looked up those bands on purevolume that you said your bf sang in. didnt find any (except for one that recorded w/o a singer).

Alot of the bands are from awhile ago and they never put anything up online. but one band cornering the beautiful is online but without vocals.

hey why won't Dana get back to me? i gave him a cd and we had an audition lined up. That date came an went, no matter how many times I call him he never picks up, and has essentially vanished.

otto, he lost that cd when the house was being cleaned. also he had a lot of shit going on. apparently that band DCM or whatever it is now screwed him by saying they didnt want to be a band anymore then they just had a show. i dont know. i believe he still wanted to work with you he just had a lot of personal things going on. he wasnt answering his cell for awhile for personal reasons. i dont know exactly i dont deal with him anymore. you will have to take it up with him. his cell is still the same. as for you trying to get in contact with me. i havent recieved any phone calls or messages. if i had i would have been notifiedand would have tried to contact you back. i can have him call you to explain things from his side. but i really dont talk to him that much anymore. sorry for any and all confusion.
