Ok, I have a bit of a dilemma for the SUPERCHRIST show on March 15th. I want SUPERCHRIST to headline, because I am assuming a handful of people will come over from the RIISTETYT show and I'd rather them see a short bit of KEVORKIAN'S ANGELS and the whole SUPERCHRIST set, rather than the other way around. Bassist/vocalist Chris Black is pretty set against closing though, as he thinks everyone who came out to support the local bands will take off before they play. I think this is possible, but exaggerated.

Obviously this poll doesn't apply to touring bands who already have a solid draw, but rather new bands looking to get exposed to the Boston area crowds...

Where should such a touring band be placed on the bill?

depends on the bands they play with, i think alot of the KA/Hirudinea crowd will stick around for SuperChrist.

on other shows, i'd definately have the touring band not headline though.

everyone needs to vote for me because I'm not gay. We all know how much everyone here hates fags.

touring bands dont headline unless they are beyond huge. for example. if any of thes bands that post here were to tour, they should be placed closer to the beginning of the bill, for they are not well known.

i agree with joe for this show, alex. the majority of the people coming out for kevorkians and hirudinea will stick around for them. but if theyre still iffy about going last, might as well make them happy.

We only have the touring band headline. But again we only book touring bands. The only time it fucked up was for the Fall OF The Bastards/Nefarious show. If you put Superchrist last I will make it after Riistetyt to see them, but as I said I'm not missing Riistetyt unless they really suck but I already know they don't.
I agree with Joe about the crowd that would be at this show, they won't leave and if they do we all know who they are so we can always kick their ass, I'm hired.

I initially asked Eric if they'd play 2nd, he agreed and that's what it's gonna be. He's a very agreeable guy.

well to make sure SuperChrist gets their full set in, maybe you should have them play third and have someone else headline.

Hirudinea takes along time to set up and break down, and Kevorkian's Angels often plays longer then they are suppose to, so you don't want to wind up with less time for SuperChrist at the end of the night.

just don't make hirudinea open

have Mike Hirudinea and Mark Kevorkian flip a coin, winner headlines, loser opens.
