SWEDEN’S TAD MOROSE TO HEADLINE APRIL’S CHICAGO POWERFEST

Sweden’s captivating heavy metal band TAD MOROSE, have been tapped to headline April’s Chicago Powerfest. After the band’s commanding performance at Atlanta’s prestigious ProgPower USA V last fall, they are thrilled to be returning to the U.S. Guitarist Christer “Krunt” Andersson commented, “We finally have the opportunity to come back to the U.S., and it’s going to be an amazing trip. We are excited that fellow Bollnäs metalheads Morgana Lefay will also be playing, as it will be their first show in the USA. I want to personally send a big thanx to John Coyne for having the guts to make this happen. It’s going to be great to meet up with our U.S. fans again. We have been longing to return ever since we got home from N.Y. and Atlanta last September." The band’s monumental 2004 release Modus Vivendi was a celebrated press and fan favorite.

Fellow Chicago Powerfest promoter Rob Such commented on why they chose to include the brilliant Swedes: "Tad Morose are one of the more exciting acts in the underground metal scene, and are certainly deserving of headlining status. We at Chicago Powerfest are very happy to give them this opportunity to headline!"
