We regret to inform you that we have parted ways with our longtime bassist, Cid.
Along with OJ, Cid was a founding member of the Morgantown, WV thrash metal band New Family in 1998 and then formed Byzantine with OJ and Tony in 2000.
Wolfe later joined the band in 2002. Byzantine signed to Prosthetic Records in 2003 and recorded their debut album, "The Fundamental Component", in 2004.
The part was very amicable and is cited due to musical differences.
We will begin searching for a new bassist soon.
We are currently in the studio recording our follow up to "The Fundamental Component", titled "…And They Shall Take Up Serpents".
We wish Cid nothing but the best in all his future exploits.
