School of Hard Knocks...realized early on that working for 'the man' sucks and limits your advancement based on their opinion. Grabbed my balls, ate Top Ramen for three years drinking water, while I built up and started my own biz. Now I sell auto parts all over the country, but still real into music, trying to get something going on; especially since I make my own schedule.

I'm thinking of Biology or Environmental Science as possible concentrations. I'm on the Bio track right now.

Legal translation specialization French/English, English/French.

eh..that's what I wanted to do! if I didn't move here instead. I had 3 more years to go and it was so easy I would have graduated without any difficulty. The saying is "if you pass the first year of English major in Toulouse, you'll pass all of them" and I passed with A+ grades. 600 students at the beginning of the year, 250 left at the end....

andover high was the worst place ever. not a single kid listened to extreme metal at that school. like 3 kids listened to hardcore. the rest of them thought that strangefolk and moe were the end all and be all of music. they shall all die.

my old guitarist was into slayer and morbid angel and megadeth among other things when he was in high school. he said the same thing as you, that there really weren't too many metalheads there. i worked in andover last year. i can imagine how bad it must have been going to school with all those yuppie rich kids in andover. the worst andover kids i ever met up with in college were the kids who thought it was the ghetto and called it "dovey". that was really gay.

Maybe you know my sister, Diana Buda? She also graduated in 2001. She and I are actually going to school together now.

Hmm, actually, she might want to get in touch with you about something.... she is a video/film major and is doing her thesis on something that happened at Latin School in your senior year. She might want to interview you. Send me an email if you'd be interested in being interviewed and I'll fill you in on the details.

we actually talked about having bruce maddocks at my girlfriend's party in framingham this march. he says hi, by the way. he's the best teacher i've ever had, by far.

as far as SIM goes, it's awesome from what i've heard, but it's limited in number of students. i tried getting in there before leaving mass art, but they told me i was a "born illustrator," the day after the illustration dept. pretty much told me i sucked. i don't understand that school at all
