this is my sad attempt at my appretiation thread for Disrupt, i dunno if anyone else gives a crap about them, but id like to credit them for getting me into what i listen to today. I first heard them about 10 years ago and still love that shit to this day... oh yeah fuckers...

I'm pretty sure I checked disrupt out a long time ago and I didn't dig it at all.

Disrupt is a big influence on what I listen to also, definately why Disengaged, Kevorkian's Angels and Abhorred struck my fancy oh so much.

Too bad the guys from that band that I've met are such pricks.

i too love the Disrupt. Grief was killer too. But Noosebomb? pffft, slacker rock...

Disrupt along Negative Approach, Siege, and Nausea are one of the few US bands I "worship"...Disrupt more than the others, I hold them responsible for turning me into crust.
Rusty from Nefarious has a side project (they're playing on Nov 11 with Abhorred and Dissector), a complete Disrupt worship, they actually cover "Domestic prison" and I do it with them, one of my favorite songs of all times, that breakdown kick my ass every fucking time.

I didn't read all of this, all I know is Disrupt was amazing and I'm sure in some way I've managed to borrow at least one riff from them throughout the years.

Disrupt rules. I was 14 and it was my first taste of A Club Baby Head show. Didn't know who they were but found out pretty quick. I think it that was in 1991 or 92. They killed so hard.

those guys were one of the greats...we were just talking the other day about how many times we (DROPDEAD) used to play with them to like 15 people at places like Club Babyhead etc...now everyone wants to see them. I fucking LOVED those crazy cats...awesome people..awesome band.

I played with Disrupt in 92-93 w/ Yuppicide, Tree, and others I was in Have Not. Crusty Craig booked it. I got drunk. It was awesome. At the church in Harvard square.

Great show that was. I believe it was the only show we ever did with the girl who sang on the Unrest CD. She quit the band after that because we pissed her off and she couldnt handle our combined insanity. Most of the band sat in the bar across the street and drank until right before we had to go on.
