Fireborn is melodic death metal. Arsis is kinda cross over melodic death with some metalcore sounds. Actually you'll find alot of the Arsis riffs sound like Arch Enemy. I try to forget Arsis has any metalcore influences.
It's all getting quite confusing. For what it's worth - I don't like how metalcore dillutes the extreme metal scene. I talk to Fireborn once in a while - they are on my freebie comp cdr I pass out. They classify themselves as melodic death metal - i mean look at their hair etc.. metalcore? hehe Fuck me? eww I won't drop another CD at a show anymore (gotta watch my back?) I never knew I had made enemies by giving out free and affordable good music but hey - can't please them all. Is hooker one of those fake accounts to stir up controversy on the forum
