Hey, I know you're all busy shitting on these guys, but they're actually quite talented.

They're kind of a mix between progressive metal and more ambient silliness, I sang for one of thier prior incarnations a long while ago. The drummer is pretty good, really big into off times and polyrythms. The bassist is pretty big into slap and funk, and does it pretty well. I don't know shit about thier new singer, I've never really heard them with him.

They're probably considered nu-metal, but I like thier sound.

speaking of utter brutality john tesh just put out another christmas album... I believe its call christmas with a zebra's soul.

TO ME BANDS LIKE C. CORPSE, MALEVOLENT CREATION ABORTED & HATEPLOW are brutal so F.F. in comparison to those bands comes up a little on the mellow and light side in my opinion

I personally listen to a lot of metal myself, and not slipknot ass clown, which is why I posted here in the first place. I was hoping that there were some open minded metal players here that know how to think outside the box. Some of the people posting here have proven that they do, so thank you for that, and none of my comments apply to you. I just hate when people automatically assume that if a bands influences aren't completely metal, that it's crappy nu-metal. When we used the word 'brutal', I didn't really think that it would make such a big deal. Of coarse, putting Fear Factory next to Cannibal Corpse does strip them of any chance of being called that, but next to Mr. Bungle, Buckethead and Primus, I would say they are definitely more on the brutal side! As for the comment about our name, I'm not so sure where your going with that. We don't use backwards letters, and if you think our name is dumb, so be it. People remember it, so it does it's job. Now, I'll get back to looking for a guitarist, and just to satisfy the little women bitching about their pussies hurting, I won't use the word brutal.
