put what weapons bring war on the bill.
and then see if they can get a place.
also, if you are playing anywhere in CT, fight night will show up and headline

toggletoggle post by humanbonedeathmachine at Sep 19,2004 5:52pm

Who does book shows in CT? I met some kid from a metal band at the Palladium once, together we had a good laugh at the expense of 11 demons and then talked about swapping shows, but he never emailed me.

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Sep 20,2004 12:09pm
just asked the red chord, they are busy... fuck.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Sep 20,2004 12:12pm
tell the red chord Watchmaker is playing, mwar har har har har

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Sep 20,2004 1:29pm
ehhh?

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Sep 20,2004 3:32pm
this might be held in a basement, waiting for confirmation, but if anyone has any other ideas, by all means reply.

this would be pretty sick:
A thousand falling skies
Porphyria
The Hostage Heart
The Breathing Proccess
The Auburn System
ION
What weapons bring war

The Red Chord refused to record with Cokedealer because he also recorded Watchmaker, only because Watchmaker bashed the red chord in an interview.

toggletoggle post by Terence   at Sep 20,2004 4:10pm
dont get me started on the red chord.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Sep 20,2004 4:13pm
He wouldn't have bashed the Red Chord if they weren't a bunch of arrogant cockheads who are obviously making terrible metalcore music for money only.
Sometimes it's hard to believe some of the bands who come out of MA, since the real metal scene here is awesome.

I like Judas Priest.

Are they really playing Avalon in february or is that just a rumor?

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Sep 20,2004 4:16pm
I'm pretty sure the red chord works pretty hard at what they do...Probably harder than a lot of the bands around here, I know they started out small like the rest of us (Ictus?)

Gunface has been nice everytime I've talked to him... I actually even ran into him over soulseek a while ago randomly and we shared some files.

Either way they're not playing, so don't get too riled up, hahaha.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Sep 20,2004 4:17pm
Fuck metalcore.

I have to say it every chance I get.

toggletoggle post by Terence   at Sep 20,2004 4:17pm
The best Red Chord experience i have ever lived through was at the last Misery Index show, when Guy was talking to Jay and Sparky, and then Guy left, so Kevin came over and asked "who was that?" and both Jay and Sparky said "I dunno"

True story.

toggletoggle post by Hooker  at Sep 20,2004 4:20pm
Fuck if they are that'd be the perfect opportunity to give Halford a handy.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Sep 20,2004 4:21pm
This thread is now about Judas Priest.

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Sep 20,2004 8:28pm

1) terence's trc story is hilarious
2) guy pays for the production, etc.. for his label out of his pocket from working at a pharmacy (sound like someone else we know?).

metalblade signing them is not only awesome for them, but awesome for us cause it aims the lime light back at us.

If I haven't already said it, THH are nice guys.

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Sep 20,2004 8:34pm
I wouldn't mind getting signed to metalblade...

agreed.

toggletoggle post by humanbonedeathmachine at Sep 20,2004 10:23pm
hey, if you guys need a ct place to book, email my drummer robbie at hbbsi@earthlink.net
we're starting shit in hartford soon

toggletoggle post by arsonick   at Sep 20,2004 10:24pm
a basement show would be so amazing not exactly what was originally planned but solid, anyways.

toggletoggle post by attendmyrequiem at Sep 20,2004 10:47pm
the breathing process is enough to make me not want to go to this anymore.

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Sep 20,2004 10:56pm
devin...skip and patrick were kicked out... if that helps.

toggletoggle post by humanbonedeathmachine at Sep 20,2004 11:26pm
do they still suck without them dudes? i never liked that band either

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Sep 21,2004 9:35am
not sure, but I guess those two were the a-holes of the band that everyone always talked about.

toggletoggle post by humanbonedeathmachine at Sep 21,2004 11:25am
yea, ive heard a lot of douchey stuff about them. i remember skip on one of the old CT boards. his sn was xskip owns cthcx or something gay like that. what a tool

toggletoggle post by arsonick   at Sep 21,2004 2:34pm
i took the spot for second guitar in the breathing process. and they got a new drummer as well. the new material we're working on lately is far far better than the old ep, i think. im not too big a fan of the 6-song ep anyways (lol). but who cares, you'll see, i guess

toggletoggle post by humanbonedeathmachine at Sep 21,2004 4:05pm
do you guys still got the chinngy chinnggy ITTSSS SOOO BEAUTIFFFULLL whiny parts?

toggletoggle post by arsonick   at Sep 21,2004 4:48pm
no i dont think were doing that anymore. i think that stuff is pretty much way behind as far as i know. there arent any clean vocal parts... especially having to do with being beautiful.

im not really too keen on ooo screaming oh sick brutal chugs man and then like awww nice singing. doesnt really make sense?

toggletoggle post by humanbonedeathmachine at Sep 21,2004 10:38pm
awesome. beautiful singing has no place in metal
