I'm pretty sure I've seen the acacia strain chick with very little makeup on... The other chick looks like she has lipgloss, but not much else. Norseth doesn't look like she's wearing any makeup. Hardly any if at all. |

I am sorry but chick rockers are the worst.
I can't stand em in bands.
The worst is having chick in your band because they start DRAMA.(The drummer or guitar player starts goin out with her...they brake up then the bass player goes out with her...they break up....then it creates tension) Plus chicks don't have it in them to write great riffs. Check out the Donna's they are boring. Even Jaded they are hot but if you ever listein to their music it's very basic (stock) elementry stuff,basic riffs with mindless shred. Chicks are only good for pop music with the exception of Bonnie Rait for blues...and she alright. |

kellthevalkrye I realized there's always that 1% out of 99% that are the exception to the rule...I am not a sexist...but I am being honest...it just seems like that. My judgement came form experiance. Look at No Doubt for example, gewn stefani went out with that Inidan guy bass player and there was all this drama that went between them and now every song is about him....he doesn't seem to mind for the sake of the band and money... but it happened. |

philosopher your portrayal of female musicians is VERY sexist. yea look at gwen stefani, look at the donnas, look at jaded, BUT THEY DON'T PLAY TECHNICAL MUSIC!!!!! in no doubt's style of music, gwen stefani is a good songwriter (she has written a couple songs for that band). in the donna's style of music, they write good songs. to say women are only good for pop is grossly narrowminded. look at the bassist of norseth. she's got a couple thousand dollars worth of high end bass gear, she plays a 6 string bass with her fingers. and she plays metal. now i have no idea if she can write at all, but i'm damn sure she can play. look at raising kubrick. they have a girl singer and they seem to be doing well. so to say that women in bands are no good (which is basically what you're saying) is very shallow |
