Alot of stuff has been going on with NotCommon so I will try to keep all info quick so this e-mail isn't a book.

All shows will be posted at the bottom of the e-mail.


KEVORKIAN'S ANGELS:

The Sound of Modern Hate is now available. You can purchase it at all Kevorkian's Angels show and all NotCommon shows. It is also available at NEWBURY comics, Quincy records, Sound Chasers in Hanover, CD spins on Newbury St. Boston, online at www.wonderdrugrecords.com and through several distros including Comatose music. There is now an mp3 available on www.notcommon.net so if you haven't seen these guys check out that mp3.

Kevorkian's Angels will be featured on a compilation from www.hitthepit.com with some great local acts like Days gone By and Trauma Concept. It will be availabe for 3 dollars at all NotCommon shows. They are also to be featured on a compilation coming out this spring or summer from Rodent Popsicle records.

WBCN, WFNX, WERS, WMFO, and WAAF all have the new disc, so make sure to request them on the appropriate shows, including Harder and Faster on WAAF and Nasty Habits on WERS.

DISENGAGED:

Disengaged is currently in the mastering process of their new full length CD, which is slated for an early May release. Their original demo release (NC-01) is now out of print and is no longer available from NotCommon. There are a few releases still floating around at Quincy Records and Newbury Comics if anyone was not able to get one before.

There are currently 3 unreleased Disengaged demo songs available for download on www.notcommon.net, newer better quality recordings of those songs will appear on the new CD.

Disengaged are playing on a local showcase on the Boston Common on April 26th, full details are listed below with the shows!

RED*INVASION

www.redinvasion.com is up and running with constant updates and some downloads from the Bane of Existence split CD and pictures of the Ultra-sexy Joe Chaos giving you the finger. The Red*Invasion/Bane of Existence split is now out of print, the remaining copies will be available at all shows and is also available at Newbury Comics and Quincy records.

Red*Invasion will be heading into NotCommon studios this weekend to begin recording for a split CD with fellow punk rockers THE SARCASTICS. This split will feature 3 original songs from each group and should be available in late May/ early June.



NotCommon records sampler CDs are coming soon and will feature songs from Kevorkian's Angels, Disengaged, Red*Invasion as well as a few other surprises. Stickers, T-shirts, and band pins will be coming out through out the summer. Kevorkian's Angels stickers should be available real soon and will be free with any order. Brian from WATCHMAKER is going to be designing a new logo for NotCommon which we hope to have ready this month, then maybe we can start working on updating the site design as well.



SHOWS:

Thursday April 3rd (tomorow) DISENGAGED, RED INVASION, The Sarcastics and The Knox at the Sugar Shack (100 University Ave, Lowell, MA). ALL AGES $5 show starts at 8 PM, doors open shortly before that.

Saturday April 26th: Disengaged will be performing on the Boston Common with Paranoid, Random Acts of Violence, Breeding Ground and more!!

Tuesday April 29th: NotCommon and Prophetless Productions present: Cryptic Warning, Random Acts of Violence, NooseBomb (ex-grief/disrupt), and One Way Down @ O'Briens Pub in Allston. 21+ 8 PM

Thursday May 1st: Prophetless Productions presents: BOSTONS' DEAD #9 with Disengaged, Indu, God Awful, and The Network at O'Briens Pub in Allston. 21+ 8 PM www.prophetlessproductions.com

Joe, you have a contact for NooseBomb? That name sounds way too much like Nailbomb. Do they have anything available, and what are they like? I've been listening to tons of Grief lately.

noose bomb is sludgy thrash, kinda hardcore stuff. their contact is dismalbio3@yahoo.com thats Randy who was in grief, disrupt and bane of existence.
they sent me their demo tape, the quality is ok for a demo, but you can tell the music is awesome. i cant wait for the 4/29 show, its going to own Boston.

Kevorkian's Angels is playing april 10 at the Linwood Grill, 69 kilmarnock rd, Boston. 21+ show starts at 10, KA is on later, probably 11:30ish. come on down anyone who can. this will be KA's last show until June, so definately worth coming down.
