Why do you say that? Anoxia isn't doing anything "original", they just know how to play devastatingly brutal death and they do it well. It's extremely difficult to play at the level they do. Which is why they're like the only band from this region producing that kind of material. It's Unique Leader rec. status. A lot of people accuse those bands (UL) of sounding the same, yet they're all technically proficient and crushing. Personally, I could listen to that type of stuff all day.

Psycroptic is probably the third best UL band. Some of their vocals are quite questionable, but musically it's DM wizardry.

I'd have to say S.O.P. is the most technical band on UL.

psycroptic rules, I think I know what you mean about the vocals, but I still dig em, especially the inversed screams and 'cricket' vocals, haha. crazy aussies.

Gorgasm was alright, but Spawn of Possession was kind of boring from what I remember.

S.o.p the most technical band on UL I personally wouldnt say that but they are up there and definatly kill .I think psycroptic or mortal decay take the taco for the most technical and clear sounding bands on UL. dude, try memorizing the changes on CABINET... I've listened to it a million times and I can barely remember all the changes. Psycroptic, has a more crisp sound but it's not quite as technical... we're talkin tech here.

How about the death like leads and strange structures on the scepter of the ancients...way more technical then s.o.p. The drumming on TSOTA WAY better. Songs like skin coffin kill anything S.o.p does in my opinon. But if then again any band on unique leader is so technical its amazing.

So because you cant remember it .... it makes it more technical then psycroptic? The playing on psycroptic is better more involved and has more structure to the songs. You check out odius mortem yet? uhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......song structure is part of being technical if you can have a lot of change ups and still have an involved structure to your music then its great. Every band has some sort of structure unless your say gore beyond necropsy.
