Costa Rica-based melodic extreme metal band SIGHT OF EMPTINESS will support OBITUARY on Nov 23rd at @ Peppers Club in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Commented SIGHT OF EMPTINESS singer Eduardo Chacón: "Playing with OBITUARY in our home country makes me feel so happy, because John Tardy was one of the first death metal singers who really impressed me when I was a little kid, his style is unique and that did motivate me back in the day to start trying out different techniques. Plus, Ralph Santolla is coming with them, so it can't go wrong, he adds his own signature and awesome shredding skills."
This will not be the first time SIGHT OF EMPTINESS was chosen to be the opening act for an international act in Costa Rica. They were previously handpicked byMEGADETH, AMON AMARTH and DARK TRANQUILLITY to open their shows in the country. In addition, they shared stages with such bands as LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, TESTAMENT,FIREWIND and SABBAT (featuring Andy Sneap, producer of the latest MEGADETH album, "Endgame").
