we'd like to record an album and our biggest concern is production quality. we really would like to get the recording as close to a major lable quality recording as we can, since production has always been our downfall. We think we have gotten as far as we can with our own recording gear and will probably never be able to take that "next step" if we can't take the recording quality to the next level.
I was hoping someone could recomend such a place to record at that was hopefully in the northen Mass/NH area, or at least a good metal producer to work with who can get the kind of clarity and definition out of the sound we want. Big drums, intricate riffs, all that fun stuff.

you could record with ethan at hold true studios. damn good production quality at a not too bad price (70 bucks a song).

his prices are changing next month...think it's gonna make it a bit more expensive...but seems worth it

yeah, hes getting new equipment so the price is going up. but that only means the quality is even better.
