| What Metadox does |
Metadox was formed in early 2001. The premise was to be a speed/death metal project. Over the course of the next 4 years, through line up changes and hardships, Metadox formed into what it is today. A band that transcends the trends of today's hardcore/metal acts and blends traditional metal with the aggressive nature of today.
The bands sound is predicated off of a twin lead-guitar assault from Frank Tosi(founding member) and Lance Mill. The guitars are accompanied by the technical, yet tasteful basslines of Al Chavez, and the double bass drum onslaught of Eric Dohan(founding member). The music is over toned by the soaring vocals of Jonathan Rosado. With vocals reminiscent of Bruce Dickinson, Ian Gillian, and Freddie Mercury, Jonathan brings the edge that balances the bands songs and stage shows. Mixed in with the vocal power of Jonathan is the dark, and at times demonic, vocals of lead-guitarist Lance Mill.
Metadox is one of the most well rounded bands out there today. They have the ability to wreak havoc with insane mosh pits, all the while being able to turn it all around and have a sea of lighters when the band changes pace with one of their ballads. Metadox truly is a force to be reckoned with as the newest metal band out there today. They're a fearless act that doesn't conform to what everyone else is doing, yet will be what everyone else is listening to.
