Genuinely scary and disturbing at times. The hallucination scenes were very unsettling. Ultimately though, the villain made no sense. The ending made no sense. It's not like I wanted another corny scene where she goes to the library and scrolls through "Babadook terrorizes family" articles on microfilm or something. But some kind of explanation of what the hell was going on would have been nice.
