I just bought Opeth "Blackwater Park." All i have to say is that I'm listening to it for about the 8th time today, and I'm COMPLETELY blown away. Their playing, finess, and pure artistry are about enough to make me cry. I'm far from a fuckin' pussy, but it is amazing. It has envoked just about every emotion in me from pure hatred to fear and sadness.
THAT is what music should do.....that's why we're all on this website right now.
I'm blown the fuck away!!! I've called 4 friends so far and have them out on a huge Blackwater Park search right now so that they can own the album as well. I have other Opeth albums and this is by far my favorite.
Maybe if I call them, they'll be my Valentines. One huge orgy of gay Valentines!!!!
Fuck that, I'll just keep pounding this album out until my ears bleed!!!
Just wanted to share this....if you don't own it, go fucking buy it....if you don't like it, I'll personally bend over and allow you to shove every square inch of this CD (case included) up my ass.
Later all....buy the fucking album.
