The songs have their moments, yet they are scatterbrained and the music has no climax or direction. The lack of flow is what holds this record back. This seems more of an experimental project than anything else, yet here we are getting suckered into a roller coaster ride with no real amusement factor. It almost seems as if the songs are displaying bass playing for the sake of bass playing and nothing else. The composition is lackluster and feels rushed. The clean vocals are an interesting addition, yet they are also uninspired feeling. I don't understand what the appeal is with this band, because everything I have heard has been boring and lacks feeling. The potential is there, but the composition needs some work.
