Correct, the outside world doesn't know about your local ip or local MAC cause they are bridged, but the router. But of course, they know your WAN IP address and can track it back to your address. I have this one little cli app that I helped write which tracks ips through a network and all you have to do is track back the ports to find them. (it's like tracert, but for ips/macs/physical ports). what comcast chooses to do or not is on them. How CAS works with warnings, idk.
