To each their own, maybe I didn't get all the references, but I thought Matt and Trey writing an episode entirely around how their ziplining trip had been boring was a thousand times funnier and ran circles around random cats repeating the same thing.

I kept waiting for the punchlines in this episode and there weren't any. Usually if there's a weaker episode its totally justified by the existence of a couple great hilarious songs (Jackin it in San Diego comes to mind).

But this episode forgot the part where it was supposed to make me laugh, kind of like that dog whisperer episode of South Park a few years ago. If all an episode has a catchphrase that isn't funny in the first place, to me, it's annoying, not entertaining, like I'm supposed to listen to tssst or ohlooong johnson for twenty minutes straight and find it funny. Refrains can work but they have to be actually funny and timed well through the episode, like tree fity or the James Cameron song or the scrolling home security call center.
