The New England Metal Coalition has released its first compilation including twenty of New England’s own heavy metal bands. The NEMC began as a way for all genres of metal in New England to network resources together and to further metal’s influence in the community. Starting with only three bands, the coalition has now, at the end of January 2012, grown to over fifty members.

The compilation includes twenty tracks from twenty different bands. It is on two discs and is being given away for free. The genres included are everything from power metal, to doom, to death metal, and more. New England Metal Coalition bands are always playing throughout New England and beyond, so make sure to visit the Facebook page to find out about shows and pick up a copy of the Winter 2012 Compilation!
