LANDMINE MARATHON Announce Summer Tour

Arizona's LANDMINE MARATHON have announced a West coast tour starting on July 29th and concluding on August 13th. Along the way, they'll be playing with Toxic Holocaust, label mates Holy Grail, and Owen Hart amongst others. The band just completed the follow up to 2010's, "Sovereign Descent." Their fourth, as of yet untitled, album, was recorded at guitarist Ryan Butler's Arcane Digital Recording Studios, and should see a fall 2011 release.

LANDMINE MARATHON bassist Matt Martinez commented: "After taking off more than a few months to write and record our next album, we are feeling very antsy to hit the road. This trip will give us the opportunity to rage with friends new and old and 'road test' some of our new songs!"

The band's confirmed dates are: July 29 Canoga Park, CA The Cobalt Café w/ Toxic Holocaust, Holy Grail, The Krum Bums
July 30 San Diego CA The Shakedown
July 31 Ventura, CA Zoey's Café
Aug. 2 Fresno, CA The Ranch
Aug. 3 Reno, NV Jub Jub's Palor
Aug. 4 Sacramento CA The Fire Escape
Aug. 5 Oakland CA Sub/Mission w/ Bastard Noise, Voetsek
Aug. 6 Arcata, CA The Jambalaya
Aug. 7 Medford OR Musichead
Aug. 8 Portland OR Plan B
Aug. 9 Seattle WA El Corazon Lounge w/ Owen Hart, Theories
Aug. 10 Boise ID The Shredder
Aug. 11 Salt Lake City UT Salt Lake Recording Services
Aug 12 Denver CO The Rockaway
Aug. 13 Santa Fe NM TBA

LANDMINE MARATHON, whose vocalist, Grace Perry, appeared on the cover of Revolver Magazine in late 2009, performed several shows at South By Southwest and the 2nd Annual SCION ROCK FEST in March 2010, appeared at Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest and Indianapolis' Dude Fest last year. The band also did a video for the track, "Shadows Fed To Tyrants," which can be viewed HERE and participated in a unique collaboration with CRANK, filmmaker, Brian Taylor, who recorded his own guitar tracks to the track, "Skin From Skull."
