I never heard you say a word about being quiet while you were up on the stage, until you yelled at us. I'm not saying you didn't say those things, I just didn't personally hear it. Maybe that's because I had earplugs in, because I know from personal experience that every time a band gets on a stage in front of their equipment, they're probably going to check levels, sounds, and test their equipment. Not so much at the 750 or 2000 seat venues I work in, because we're doing a full sound check before doors, but since we're not afforded that luxury when playing a small club you've got to assume we're going to be making some noise. Deal with it. As for my smart ass guitar player with his smart ass remarks--maybe if you didn't call the lot of us assholes, or just left your shitty attitude somewhere else when you came to the stage in the first place, he wouldn't have had any smart ass remarks for you. Kindness goes a long way pal. You gotta realize that before the set we didn't know you from a hole in the wall, and you somehow managed turn six otherwise very friendly people against you in under 30 seconds of interaction. What's wrong with the picture here? I, personally, was nothing but kind to you at first, and actually felt some sympathy for you early on. I know bands can be annoying sometimes, and we were as frustrated as you were that things were moving incredibly slow during the rest of the show. You fail to mention at any point during your incoherent tirade that after the show I was helping you break down the drum mics, when I could have just hovered, got another drink, or "smashed a symbol in your ear." After doing so, with none of my other band members anywhere near us, you decided to start throwing my stuff around. I don't know what pissed me off more--the audacity to do that in the first place, or the fact that you did so after I helped you out. I also never threatened you with anything, nor did I claim to be a D.D.S. I simply said that your actions under different circumstances with different people may have caused a physical conflict. I also did offer to make sure you left with a smile, and if we were gonna remove teeth, that wouldn't quite be possible. In the end, YOU'RE the one that is on the clock and responsible for keeping your cool. It doesn't matter if we took a shit on top of your snake and pissed in the direct outs on the console, you've got to be a little bit more mature while you're working. If the problem is too big for you to handle like an adult, then ask someone else at the venue to handle it for you. Like I said before, if there's any sort of problem that still needs to be resolved, you've got our contact info.
