I missed S.O.C.

Crypter was eh. Singer was good but one of the guitarists had AWFUL tone. So tinny and he kept stopping like he was lost. Went downstairs to drink beer.

Candy Striper Death Orgy was great. I saw them at the Brickhouse before and didn't like them as much then but this time around they sounded a lot better. Obvious Slayer sound but well done. Holocaustic is a fantastic song. Would see again.

Bonded By Blood was boring. Their singer has no aggression in his voice and the music is bland. Then again, these kids are like 18 so what do you expect? Again, went downstairs to drink.

Gama Bomb are way too gimmicky for me. Their singer does this stupid falsetto thing that doesn't even fit. No aggression. Do not like. Drinking again.

Forbidden were ridiculously awesome. I was more pumped to see them than any other band that night (I saw Overkill in April, I know what to expect). Russ is a HUGE dude. Did not expect that haha. His voice sounded great and he seemed into it. The new stuff sounded awesome and they played some oldies like Through Eyes of Glass, Step By Step and Chalice of Blood. I hope to see them again.

Overkill was awesome of course. I think Bobby Blitz had a cold but he still sounded great. They had pretty much the same setlist as the last time I saw them but it sounds sooo much better in a small venue with a better PA system. Very tight, very energetic. Unfortunately, no Powersurge or Electro-Violence like I hoped but solid set regardless. They played til 1 in the morning.

Overall, great show. Oh and might I add, NOT ONE FIGHT HAPPENED ALL NIGHT. NOT ONE. This was a thrash metal show, not a show for scene fags and faux tough guys. I was impressed with the crowd.
