I have one of those old POD 2.0 s which gets the job done but it's a little uninspiring to me. I don't know that I'd use it for anything other than demos for my own consumption. I have some experience using a friend's copy of Guitar Rig....pretty nice actually but I had better results recording with my half stack. I can get by with the POD for now...no immediate need, but I saw the hotplate on Craigslist and was curious.
