When you sell the tickets that means you're doing work to get people to the show... Most of you would never do this. That's why you'll never get asked to play on any big shows. When we opened for the Misfits downstairs at the Palladium 2 years ago, we had to sell 100 tickets at $20.00. When we opened for Testament at the ADC Performance Center 2 years ago, we had to sell 75 tickets... When we played the New Jersey & Milwaukee Metal Fests, we had to buy tickets up front ($1500.00)... We sold them to friends of ours in those area's and made our money back.

Alot of the bands on here will go no further than their living room. They have no drive and no potential. They sit at home with the bong next to them complaining about what they dont have.
Selling tickets is part of the business. You have no idea how much it costs to run a show.
