yeah i dl'd the leak as well and REALLY enjoy it...been pretty much all ive listened to lately, just curious as to someone elses opinion. i pretty much agree with everything you said actually.

the acoustic bit def threw me off at first also but honestly i find myself singing that in my head more than almost any other part on the album.

i must say i like the drumming slightly less on this album (though its still solid as shit and is perfect for the songs) compared to the red album. i think a lot of the albums more "rock" vibe stems from the much more straightforward drumming style he uses. still sounds great just seems a bit less intricate than the red album

Funny about the "singing" in your head comment... I've been walking around with a couple of the songs stuck in my head.

Very catchy tunes, and I like that they've developed into better singers.

I can't say I like the drumming any less, but I did notice that he toned it down a bit for this one. He's an incredible drummer. Always in the pocket, even when he's doing crazy shit.

Hell of a nice guy too. They played at the venue where I do live sound last year, and I got to hang out with him a bit after their set.
