no shit. just get a 1TB WD green drive for $80 and turn your C or D drive into an external or storage.

but I think it's dead. I would personally pull out the C and D drives and replace them with one or two 1TB drives.

I just replaced my laptop 320GB with a 500GB without reinstalling windows by
1) downloading and burning this iso
http://clonezilla.org/download/sourceforge/stable/iso-zip-files.php
2) hooking up my drives and rebooting from the CD I just burnt
3) cloning local drive to local drive including MBR
4) swapping the drives and booting off the new drive.

worked brilliantly. The only thing is that I'm using windows xp and not vista so now I have to figure out how to grow the main partition.
