The Jamspot is closing down?!

One of the best venues in and around Fitchburg may be putting on its last show. HTR contacted one of the managers of the Jamspot this past week in hope of putting on another benefit show in their main hall to raise food and awareness for the Operation: Military Kids Emergency Food Program, but learned that the Beautiful Gorgeous show on September 20th is the last show they are having. The reason for this is due to the building owner failing to pay taxes on the property for some time now, and the town is reportedly looking to seize the building. This of course will stifle the underground music scene in that area, as it is doubtful that the town will continue to allow Metal and Hardcore shows to happen there.
