Dood, Moss was good and all, but he'd have been lucky to be a fourth outfielder in Boston. He's better off getting a shot at full time duty with the Pirates. Hansen I don't give a fuck about.
It sucks that we lost Manny's bat, but we also lost a cancer in the clubhouse that finally hit critical mass and pissed off almost all of his teammates and the brass. Jason Bay is still a solid player who at the moment has almost identical stats for the year as Manny. The team will bounce back how that the drama has passed and they can focus, as well as getting a new guy in who is known for being a good guy and a positive influence all around.
