It's way too easy for bands to write any kind of generic lyrics for themselves. Learn to play an instrument (even if you sing in a band, STILL learn to play an instrument). Buy a guitar, learn some power chords, start a band, goto shows, meet people, start better bands, be productive. Don't try to be a star, or change the world at 16. Just play your part, be a decent dude, and things will work out for you. And for Christ's sake, pay more attention in English class. Good luck.
