Seeing them at the Palladium was sort of bittersweet since the sound sucks balls downstairs. At first I was impressed by their ability to play their instruments, but after listening to the new album a handful of times before actually buying it, I realized that they're one of the few bands that can not only play their instruments in very technically proficient ways, they can write a solid song with flow and groove to it. That to me is good musicianship.
