i go to canada fairly regularly (usually at least 3 times a year... will be more now tho) anyway... ive gone several ways... plane, bus, and driving myself..... the plane was pretty damn easy the two times i went that way... customs was a breeze... and security wasnt really bad.

when i took the bus it was a crap shoot... usually i had no problem.... immigration just asked the normal questions... but there was always some schmuck on the bus who said something stupid or had something in their past and you ended up waiting like 40 mins at the boarder....
once the woman grilled me about who i was going to go see (my friend adrian) she asked me his exact address (thank god i sorta knew it) didnt comprehend that i wasnt 100% sure about the addy (apparently she didnt have friends and didnt understand the idea of them picking me up at hte bus station)... asked me what i did for work (and since canadians dont have april school vacations) she asked me for proof that i was a teacher and employed!!!! (luckily i had my Massachusetts teachers association card in my wallet).... after like 25 mins she let me go with a look of hatred in her eyes

driving over.... omg it was fucking nuts.... #1 it was great cuz there was like no traffic.... the lady asked why i was goin... i said a wedding... she glanced in my car from her booth... didnt even look at my liscense/birth certificate and waved me thru.

coming back the guy was kinda a dick and gave me a hard time cuz i had paper flowers in my trunk from the wedding.... trying to tell me i should of said they were in there in case i had to declare them hahahaha
