It is true that there are substitutes out there for everything you could imagine, not to mention a lot of the crap food out there that's already vegan(Oreos, Fritos, Twizzlers, Swedish fish, etc.). I don't eat meat but I'm while I'm not a vegan I do have some tendencies, ie. I drink soymilk(I honestly think it tastes better), I will avoid dairy if I don't have to eat it but sometimes I'm just lazy. Some stuff can still be made too(like pizza) but it just has to be made with different ingredients. Probably the reason it's expensive has more to do with the demand for it. They hide all the organic stuff in the grocery store or maybe they just have different stores for it altogether because people can just get their brand name shit easier. It's all just a matter of willpower, really.
