Out guitarist slept in the van overnight, because he was sleeping by the time that we got to our friend's apartment. He woke up that morning to the sounds of dudes trying to get into the van...they heard him and scurried away...he finally found what apartment we were staying in, and by the time we went out to the van to check on it, the damage had been done.

We have a Dodge Conversion Van. In the back, there are small ventilation windows, that you open for air. This is a similiar model vehicle...check where the blue arrow is to see what I'm talking about :

This is directly where our guitarist's head was when they heard him and saw him waking up...when they broke in, they went through the main side door, which you can also see in the picture...but that small window was smashed out, and stabbed through with a knife...they definitely werent trying to gain access through that small ass window, so our only logical conclusion is that they were going for him.
