Listen to the first song on their first album. Are you going to tell me they didn't rip that mosh part (maybe 2 minutes into the song) off from future breed machine? C'mon...listen to them back to back. The only difference is the tuning, same guitar and drum composition.



I do agree that some riffs sound similar to other bands...wether they consciously decided to rip off those bands - no idea. Anyways I think something like that is unavoidable these days with the amount of music out there, and in my opinion, context is everything. Using the same timing but mixing up the notes in the riff or vice versa in a different strong structure to me is influence. I think there is always going to be a debate over where to draw the line between influence and plaguerism. Thats my two cents.
