If MLK knew how his efforts would be misconstrued he probably would not have pushed forth his ideals. Well...maybe not...but I'm sure he wasn't hoping that 1/15 would be named after him....and that civil liberty would be pushed out of view. How noone can respect MLK as a person is beyond me. Try and remember, he wasn't just speaking on behalf of african-americans, but for all american families. But, I guess it's just easier to say ah he's a nigger.
