Far too drawn out, and the characters gain godlike abilities meaning basically, it's not much fun to read since you know how everything will turn out. Don't bother. George RR Martin "A Song of Ice and Fire" is far more popular and I'm willing to bet sells more at Barnes and Nobles. Much more down to earth, and even though these books are long too, they are amazing page turners. The books out so far are: Game of Thrones Clash of Kings Storm of Swords Feast for Crows
