Arlington, Massachusetts's own pride and joy The Taste of Silver has just shipped of their latest release to pressing! The album is entitled "Eight Hundred Mountains, Eight Hundred Messages" and is a collection of recorded material that was mostly previously unreleased, but also includes a demo version of "Our Lot" off of the Raising Kubrick split CD and the entire unchanged "The Weight of the World" EP that was released on CDR as a limited edition pressing last year.

Most of the disc was recorded by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios (Orchid, Wolves, Daniel Striped Tiger) in Amherst, MA during 2004, although "Kill Wilkinson" -- a song that has never been performed live -- was recorded by Jared Colby, now of The Hostage Heart, at his facility Trapdoor Studios.

The entire release was mastered by Nick Zampiello at New Alliance East, now in Cambridge MA. Nick has not only mastered all of The Taste of Silver's works thus far, he has also done mastering work for Ascendancy, Bones Brigade, Isis, Knut, Cave-In, and many other Boston area notables.

The 11 track, full color packaged disc is slated for release in July of 2006, but will be available prior to then at the majority of TTOS's tour dates this summer.
